Thomas “Tommy” Orecchio, 63, of Woodlyn, PA, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1962, to his parents, John and Frances (nee Mielnicki) Orecchio in Somerville, NJ and grew up in Raritan, NJ.


Tommy attended Saint Ann’s School and graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan West High School. With a lifelong passion for music, he went on to study at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City.


A talented and self-taught guitarist, keyboard player, and natural singer, Tommy shared his gift of music with everyone around him. He created The Audio Workshop, a recording studio in Branchburg, where he recorded, produced, and inspired many local musicians. He even wrote and recorded his own album.


Tommy was deeply inspired by Jim Croce, which led him to form a tribute page and organize a fan tour gathering in Philadelphia. He was also a devoted fan of Jimmy Buffett, the New York Jets, and the New York Mets.


Outside of music, Tommy shared his love of sports by coaching Little League baseball in Raritan, where he encouraged young players with patience and enthusiasm.


Above all, Tommy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife Christine Orecchio, his loving children Matthew Orecchio and Kara Orecchio, and his cherished grandchildren Anthony, Kaylee, Riley, his dear sister Laura Sedlatschek and his loyal support dog, Ace.  He was predeceased by his parents., and his grandmother Julia Orecchio.


Tommy will be remembered for his creativity, humor, kindness, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and music. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.


Viewing and service will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4 PM - 7 PM, at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue,
