Joseph Barone, 74, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at Banner University Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, with his daughter and girlfriend lovingly by his side.

Born on June 28, 1951, in Bound Brook, NJ, he was the son of Elsie and Joseph Barone. Joseph spent most of his career as a dedicated and hardworking Union Iron Worker with Local 11.

Outside of work, he found joy on the golf course, riding his Harley on the open road, playing his guitar, listening to music, fishing, and, most of all, spending cherished time with his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amy (Ian), and his treasured grandchildren, Nick and Ava; his loving girlfriend, Suzanne; his sisters, Cindy (Gary), Laura (Greg), Lisa (Bob), and Mary; as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind his former wife, Angela Barone, with whom he shared many years and memories.  He was predeceased by his beloved son, Nicholas Barone and his parents.

Joseph will be remembered for his funny stories, analogies, guitar playing, generosity, and love for his family.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ.
