Michael Roehrich Obituary

Michael Roehrich, 65, of Branchburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Born on January 5, 1960, to the late Cynthia (née Drake) and Joseph J. Roehrich, Michael was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country from 1979 to 1982. He later earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice and worked as a dedicated salesman for Verizon in East Hanover.

He found joy in the simple pleasures—gardening, especially tending to his beloved roses, barbecuing, and entertaining family and friends. A frequent visitor to the Sands Casino in Atlantic City, he appreciated good company and a good laugh, always offering kindness and reassurance to those around him.

Michael is survived by his loving brothers, Joseph Roehrich and his wife Mary Ellen, and John Roehrich; his devoted sister Patricia Roehrich; and many cherished nieces and nephews: Joshua, Jordan, Joseph, Jacob, Jenette, and Jacqueline and her husband Jon. He also leaves behind great-niece Elizabeth and great-nephews Christopher, Jack, Jayce, long-time devoted friend Dolores Weborg.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cynthia and Joseph J. Roehrich.

Michael will be remembered fondly for his generous spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
