Obituary of Jennie Radice

 Jennie T. Radice, 95, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. Born in Somerville, NJ, on May 17, 1930, Jennie was a lifelong resident of Somerset County and a beloved member of the Bridgewater community.

Before her retirement, Jennie worked as a dedicated hairdresser at Hair Palace in Manville, where she made lifelong friendships and brought joy to many through her warm presence and expert touch. Her vibrant spirit extended far beyond her profession.

Jennie was deeply involved in the life of her community. She was a proud and active member of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens, a volunteer at the Blood Bank, and a cherished member of the Red Hats. Her greatest source of spiritual fulfillment as she had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was deeply involved at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Bridgewater, where she served faithfully as a choir member, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, and as a Eucharistic Minister.

Above all, Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Affectionately known as "Gigi" to her grandchildren and great-grandchild, she was the heart of her family — hardworking, kind, caring, and endlessly generous. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and her thoughtful nature and full-of-life spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jennie was predeceased by her beloved parents, Elisa (née Gabinelli) Laggini and Frank Laggini; her brothers Victor, Angelo, Tony, and Dominick; and her sisters Victoria and Mary.

She is survived by her loving son Anthony and his companion Rita Miranda of Alabama; her devoted daughter Lisa and her husband Victor Giranda of Bridgewater, NJ; her brother Chick “Albert” Laggini; her cherished grandchildren Jenna Giranda, and Kristi and her husband Harry Martinez; and her precious great-grandchild Noelle Martinez.

Viewing will be held from 4-8pm on Friday May 23, 2025 and Saturday May 24, 2025 from 8:30am-9:15am, at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.

Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:15am at the funeral home on Saturday, May 24, 2025, followed by a 10am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Bridgewater. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
