Maria Concetta "Connie" Prudente, 89, died peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 28, 1935, in Cassano Irpino, Province of Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Maddalena (née Maiorana) and Benedetto Foglia. Connie was raised in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1955.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Connie's life centered around her faith and her family. She had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and remained steadfast in her Catholic faith throughout her life. Her passing on Mother’s Day is a poignant reminder of her unwavering dedication to motherhood and spiritual life.

Connie found joy in cooking and baking, especially for Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings. She cherished time spent with her grandsons, family, and friends. She worked as a skilled seamstress and was known for her kindness, warmth, and strength of character.

She is survived by her beloved son Claudio and daughter-in-law Dianne; her cherished grandsons Christopher, Timothy, and Matthew; her brother Donato(Violetta); sister Aurellia(Bartolomeo(d); sisters-in-law Maddalena (Anthony) & Graziella (Atillio); and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Connie was predeceased by her devoted husband Salvatore; her parents; brothers Silvio(Giovannina) and Antonio (Carmela); brothers-in-law Fred (Ubalda) and Antonio; and sister-in-law Carmela (Antonio).

Thursday, May 15, 2025: 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM

Friday, May 16, 2025: 8:30 – 10:00 AM

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16 at Holy Trinity Church, Bridgewater, NJ.

Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Route 28, Bridgewater, NJ.
