Joan D. Santora, 90, died on April 18, 2025, at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater, NJ, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Hudson, NY on April 23, 1934 to her parents Matilda (nee WaLiky) and Harry Jackson.

Joan was a 1952 graduate of Somerville High School.  She then went on to earn her Associates Degree.  Joan was the owner of Somerset Limo Service, which was located in Bridgewater.  Joan married her beloved husband Daniel in 1959.  Together they raised there sons Jeffrey and Dennis. She retired in 1987 and moved to Florida, then Tennessee, then Delaware and back to Somerville, NJ.  She was an avid reader, loved shopping and had a passion for jewelry.  Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was kind, caring and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Joan is survived by her son Jeffrey (Nancy) Santora, grandsons Jeffrey Michael Wood Santora, Tyler McLean (Brianne) Santora, and great grandson Michael James Santora, nieces, nephews. cousins and many friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 2018, her son Dennis in 2002, her parents, brother James D. Jackson and sister Miriam Jacobs,

A viewing will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10AM - 11:45 AM, Religious service beginning at 11:45 AM, at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908)725-1887.  Entombment 12:45 PM, St. Bernard Cemetery, 550 Route 28, Bridgewater, NJ.
