Joseph Bugai, Jr.
Raritan, NJ – Joseph Bugai, Jr., 65, died Monday, February 22, 2016. He was born on August 17, 1950 to the late Maddalena (Maisano) and Joseph Bugai, Sr.
Joseph was a Phone Installer for N.J. Bell Telephone and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. His ship, the USS New Orleans picked up the Apollo 14 astronauts upon their landing. Joseph was a kind and gentle soul who loved to read and build model sets. He also enjoyed photography.
Joseph is survived by his sister Rosemary (Sam) Prisco and his brother Robert Bugai, five nieces Nicole, Lauren, and Rebecca Prisco, Amanda (Eric) Passman, and Amy (Rob) Semeniuk, and two cousins Roberta Murchison and Bobby Maisano.
