The staff at the NJ Division of Aging Services, State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) are heart broken over George's passing. He served as our Coordinator for Medicare counseling in Somerset County for almost 20 years, and did so with efficiency, professionalism, and caring. He helped hundreds of older and disabled individuals during his tenure to understand the complexity of Medicare, as well as managing the day to day scheduling and training of the other counselors in the program. All of this he did as a fulltime and very humble volunteer in his "retirement". We were blessed to have worked with such a fine gentleman as George. He will be greatly missed.
