Julia Mary Orecchio, 104, of Raritan, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 28th at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough.
Julia was born in Annandale, New Jersey, to Frances and Joseph Mazar on April 3, 1916. She retired from RCA Corporation in Bridgewater. She enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a strong and loving woman who was a light in the lives of all who knew her. She left all with so many wonderful memories and will be forever missed. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Raritan.
Julia is survived by her two grandchildren, Tom Orecchio in Pennsylvania and Laura (Mike) Sedlatschek in Kentucky; her four great-grandchildren - Matthew, Kara, Cody and Kristen; and four great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Tom), her son (John), and 18 brothers and sisters.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Home for all of their care and support for so many years.
Funeral Services are private under the director of the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908) 725-1887. Burial in St. Bernard’s cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
