Obituary of Dominick "Donny" Papera

MANVILLE- Dominick “Donny” Papera, 72, died at his home on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. He was born on April 19, 1947 to the late Rose and Dominic Papera in Raritan, NJ and a graduate of Bridgewater- Raritan High School Class of 1966. Donny loved Rock N’ Roll and Blues music. He played guitar and sang in his band the "Spartans" during his earlier years. He was an avid fly fisherman and a longtime member and trustee of the Musconetcong River Trout Club. Donny was employed as a Collection Specialist in Banking retiring in 2001. He was a loving husband, a proud father, grandfather and a faithful friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Donny is survived by his beloved wife Carol, loving son William Ettel (Karen), cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Adreanna and Avery, sisters Lena DelMonte and Mary Demyan (Steve). He is predeceased by his parents, a brother Frank and a sister Ann Leibold.
