RARITAN - Jeffery "Skip" Robert Myre, 57, died on January 30, 2020. He was born on January 16, 1963 to Eleanore (nee Woodmancy) and the late Lee Myre in Trenton, Michigan. Jeffery was a former Demo Chef of Wegmans and enjoyed participating in cooking demonstrations there. He once prepared meals for an end of the season "wrap party" for James Gandolfini of the Soprano's TV show. He was a talented musician performing for Charity Concerts such as the Marine Corp's Toys For Tots program. Skip was a backup singer, played lead guitar, drum and bass in his bands: "Jersey Souls NJ", "Overdrive Band", "Cell Division", "Killjoy", "Say It Ain't Joe", "On the Rocks", "Big Billy", & "Piper Stone" for over 20 years, sometimes playing in 2-3 bands at once. He was a recording artist and helped others. Jeffery also was a Chauffer at Fleetwood Limousine in Union, NJ, & Royal Coachman in Denville, NJ. He drove corporate VIP's and Celebrities. Jeff once drove Gene Simmons of the rock band "Kiss". He spoke the language of Hebrew. Jeff had a keen sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Jeffery is survived by his beloved wife Theresa, loving children Steven of Alabama, Jeff (Amanda) of North Carolina, Sarah Tenney (Alex) of North Carolina, Suzanne Loiselle (Ryan) of MI and Kaitlin Myre of NJ, two step-children, Amy D. Buzin of CA, Wayne R. Fallet, Jr. (Jessica) of PA, his mother Eleanore of Mississippi, 8 cherished grandchildren, a brother Steven (Michelle) of Mississippi, two sisters Jennifer of Mississippi and Andrea (Kim) of MI. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday February 8, 2020 between 5:00pm and 8:00pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Ave Raritan NJ. "FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS"
