Obituary of Dominick Foti

BRIDGEWATER-          Dominick Foti, 87, died at home on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on March 17, 1932 in Santo Onofrio, Italy to the late Nicola and Teresa Foti.

Dominick was raised in Italy and enjoyed working on the family farm.  He came to the United States in 1956 at the age of 24 years old.  Together with his wife Giovanna they resided and raised their 5 children in Bridgewater.   Dominick loved gardening, eating spicy food and spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.   All who knew him will remember him as a fun and loving man. 

Dominick is survived by his beloved wife Giovanna, his sons Nicola Foti and Frank Foti, 2 daughters Teresa Foti and Rose Opalenik and son-in-law Christopher Opalenik, 10 grandchildren Rosalinda, Pietro, Nicola, Salvatore, David, Domenic, Christina, Giovanna, Giuliana and Michaela, 3 great grandchildren Baxter, Madelyn and Michael and 2 sisters Annunziata Dotta and husband Joseph and Andriana LoPresti and husband Ottavio.  He is predeceased by his parents, a son Rosario, a grandson Domenico, a brother Frank and a sister Isabella. 

Viewing will be Friday, September 27, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 beginning with a viewing from 8:30am to 9:15am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Funeral Mass at the Church of the Holy Trinity 60 Maple Street, Bridgewater, NJ.  Entombment St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
