Regina T. Mitterando, 93, of Martinsville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026.

Born on April 21, 1933, Regina was the daughter of the late George Stummer and Regina (Rakovina) Stummer.

Before her retirement, Regina worked for many years as a dedicated bookkeeper with Universal Construction in Bedminster, New Jersey. She was an exceptional cook who took great joy in preparing meals for family and friends, especially during holidays and special celebrations. Regina's warmth, kindness, wit and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Regina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent Mitterando, in 2019; her sister, Helen Stummer; and her brother, George Stummer.

She is survived by her three loving daughters: Antonette Mitterando and her husband, Mark Thaler of Pennsylvania, Theresa Davison and her husband, Thomas, of Flemington, New Jersey; and Dr. Jeanne Mitterando of Martinsville, New Jersey. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: James Davison and his wife, Kalyn; Christina McHenry and her husband, Ryan; Ian Stokes and his wife, Alessandra; Jason Stokes; Zachary Stokes and his wife, Katie; and Andrea Mossinger and her husband, Craig. Regina was also blessed with five adored great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Stella, Jadon, Alastair, and Aliza.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, New Jersey 08836.

Committal services will be held privately.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, New Jersey 08869.
