Patricia E. Meister, 82, of Manville, New Jersey, passed away on June 24, 2026.

Born on October 27, 1943, Patricia was the daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth McGowan. She was affectionately known as "Pat" or "Patty" by her family and friends, especially her lifelong best friend, Georgiana Holovach, and her husband, John.

Patricia is survived by her loving son, John A. Meister and his wife, Mary; her eldest grandson, Scott "Scooter" Meister; her granddaughter, Rachel Hawk; grandson Hunter Bias and great-grandchildren; and her beloved four-legged companion, "Baby," whom she lovingly considered her furry son.

She was predeceased by her eldest son, Joseph Meister, and her daughter, Kelly Meister.

Pat's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love and dedication to her family were evident to everyone who knew her. Whether she was cooking a meal, going shopping, providing a ride to a doctor's appointment, or simply offering a helping hand, Pat was always there for those in need.

She had a deep love for animals, nature, and especially cats. Her beloved "Baby" held a special place in her heart. Pat enjoyed walking through Colonial Park Gardens to admire the beautiful roses, playing Mahjong on her laptop, working on word-search puzzle books, and trying new recipes to prepare for her family.

Before retiring, Pat worked as a sales associate in the Men's Clothing Department at Walmart in Manville. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and caring spirit.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and enjoyed her company. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will remain a lasting legacy in the hearts of those she touched.
