Gladys R. Campbell, 92, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. Born on June 26, 1933, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of Andrea (née Benitez) and Paul Ruel.

Gladys worked as an account representative for Ecco Company in Ramsey, New Jersey. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Known for her wonderful cooking and warm hospitality, Gladys loved entertaining family and friends and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

A devout Catholic, she had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and lived her life with faith, kindness, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gladys is survived by her son, Harold Campbell and his wife Barbara; her daughter, Yvette Kupersmit and her husband Ira; her grandchildren, Schaeffer Daciek and his wife Kait Daciek, Claire Campbell and her husband Oliver Haslem, Christian Campbell, Chelsea and Gabe Escalona, great-grandchildren, Harlow and Harrison Haslem, Nova and Leo Escalona. 

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother and sister.
