Albert J. Viscione (Rambo), 90, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on July 13, 2020 in Raritan, NJ surrounded by family after a two-year battle with cancer.
Funeral Mass Saturday, July 18, 2020 11:00am at St. Ann Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Rt. 28 Raritan, NJ. Visitation will be at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887 on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. IAW CDC & State guidelines, distancing and masks are required.
Mr. Viscione was born in Bound Brook, NJ to Charles and Anna Viscione on May 15, 1930. He went to Somerville High School. He worked as a weaver for Redfern Laceworks in Raritan for 20 years prior to closing, then as a Mason Contractor for C.M. Viscione Masonry for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, time with family, the local coffee shop and had an adored sense of humor. He was an Active Duty Veteran of the Korean War, US Army, Staff Sergeant, 3rd Infantry - Artillery. He gave to several children’s charities.
Mr. Viscione is survived by his loving former wife Yolanda Polidoro of Raritan, Son Albert C. Viscione of Asbury, Daughter Sandra Braun of Bridgewater, three Granddaughters, Leah Braun of Bridgewater, Nicoletta Viscione of Asbury and Antonia Viscione of Asbury, Grandson Eric Braun of Bridgewater. He is preceded in death by his Parents Charles & Anna Viscione and three Brothers, Charles, Raymond and Eugene Viscione.
