Obituary of Marie T Forte

Marie T. Forte, 75, of Raritan, died peacefully on February 19, 2018. She was born on May 3, 1942 in Somerville, NJ, to her dear parents Carmela (Fasanella) and Stanley Sikora. Marie worked as a secretary for American Cyanamid in Bound Brook and at the Raritan Library where she started children's programs. She was a field editor for Taste of Home Magazine, as she was a great cook and baker. Marie was a member and dedicated volunteer of St Ann's Church and the Altar Rosary and was involved with the Festa for over 20 years. She was also a Eucharist minister and lector. Marie was devoted to her sons during their time at Immaculata in all their activities and volunteered whenever she could. Marie was kind caring and generous and was a devoted wife, mother, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank Forte, her sons Frank Jr. and Anthony, 2 brothers Stanley Sikora and Michael Sikora, and several cousins and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents.
