Obituary of William Martin Flynn

Raritan, NJ – William M. Flynn, 87, died November 3, 2017. He was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on February 24, 1930 to his late parents Kathryn Elizabeth Blanchfield and Robert F. Flynn.

Bill was a Purchasing Manager for Egan Machinery in Somerville, NJ. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War, was a graduate of Rutgers University where he earned his Bachelors Degree, and graduated "70" years ago from Phillipsburg Catholic High School. Bill was a member of the Raritan Senior Citizens where he volunteered his time and was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Raritan. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Bill always wore an infectious smile that reflected his joy for life. He was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his loving children, William Flynn II and his wife Susan of Hillsborough NJ and Barbara Costanzo and her husband Jerry of Raritan, NJ and five dear grandchildren, Patrick, Timothy, and Kyle Flynn, and Kimberly and Michael Costanzo. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathyrn "Betty" Elizabeth Flynn (February 19, 2016), his parents, and two brothers.

Funeral Services, Monday, November 6, 2017, viewing 8:30 to 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.
