Obituary of Donald E Welker

Bridgewater, NJ (formerly of Hillsborough and Emerson) – Donald E. Welker, 52, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on December 3, 1964. Donald was an avid golfer, and amateur wrestling enthusiast. At Emerson Jr. Sr. High School, he was on the wrestling team. He graduated from Rutgers University. Don continued to attend many Rutgers tournaments, as well as attending the yearly Wrestling Finals in Atlantic City. He worked as a Computer Architect for several prominent consulting firms over the course of his career, most recently with Clarkston Consulting, as well as having clients on a self-employed basis. Don was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Donald was a loving father of Danielle and Kristen Welker; son of Melanie and the late Warren Suter and Donald S. Welker and wife Mary; a dear brother of Darlene and husband David Rubin, David Welker, Christine and husband James Ricciardella, Theresa and husband George Buono, Kathleen and husband Timothy Wells, Jill Welker Liebesman, Jennifer Welker, Christopher Welker, Alyson and husband Barry Newhart; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).
