Bridgewater, NJ – Joseph DelMonte, 81, passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2017. He was born in Summit, NJ on October 16, 1935 to his late parents, Congetta Valerio and Joseph DelMonte. Joseph was a Tile Laborer at BAC Local Union No. 7 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a fan of the N.Y. Yankees and N.Y. Giants. Joseph was good hearted, kind, caring, generous and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Joseph is survived by his loving daughter, Anna Marie Monks and husband Randy; his wonderful grandson, Michael; one dear brother, Charles DelMonte; and four loving sisters, Josephine Campano, Suzanne LaSasso and husband Vincent, Patricia Morelli and husband Thomas, and Diane Ortolano. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine Esposito DelMonte (December 28, 2007), his parents, and his sister, Ann Marie DelMonte. Funeral, Monday, February 13, 2017, 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887). Religious Service, 10:30 am at the funeral home.
