Rodney King Hillsborough Rodney King, died June 10, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ to his late parents, Agnes Pavlovic and Fletcher King. Rodney was an Inventory Manager for Sansone Auto Mall in Avenel NJ and for the past 10 years worked for the Somerset Patriots. He was a professional musician most of his life. Rodney played the saxophone and electric bass and performed all throughout the country. He was a NASCAR fan and also attended Rutgers and Princeton football games. Rodney was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He was a kind and gentle man who always put others ahead of himself. Rodney had an old fashioned respect for people and treated everyone with tolerance. He will be deeply missed by his entire family and everyone who had the honor to know him. We love you Pop Pop!! Rodney is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Balogh King for 37 years of Hillsborough, his loving daughter, Candace King of Hillsborough, an adorable granddaughter, Autumn, three dear brothers-in-law and three loving sisters-in-law, Dawn and Eric Wilde of Raritan, Jamie and Cindy Balogh of Florida, Nick Balogh of California, and Aldina King of Raritan, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward King. Viewing, Thursday, June 16, 2016, 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908-725-1887). Burial is private.
